After completing a two year Professional Certified Floral Design program in 1990 under the direction of Hiromi Yamagata Floral Designer at Torrance Adult Career Center in Southern California.
I developed a natural aptitude for creating innovative floral designs
and with this invaluable experience that was attained by owning and operating a retail flower shop in Austin for seven years and working
with brides, I knew the best way for me to  express my talent was to work for myself, to be an Independent Designer.
